I Hear of  Sherlock Everywhere!

All clues point to 2012 being a banner year for the world's most famous consulting detective:

Hollywood is hyping its second "Sherlock Holmes" film starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law.

The British Broadcasting Corporation's new "Sherlock" miniseries has been such a hit that CBS has announced plans to begin production of its own version of the show.

Even LEGO and Nintendo are getting into the act, introducing a Holmes mini figure and video game, respectively.

Take advantage of this rising surge in Sherlock-mania by booking Jeff Falkingham to speak with your group! His new multimedia presentation (see the Book Talks page) will take your audience outside the box for an inside look at one of the most famous characters in literary history.

The summer of 2012 also marks the 150th anniversary of the Dakota Conflict (also known as the Sioux Uprising) in the Minnesota River Valley. This event plays a key role in Jeff's first novel, The County Courthouse Caper

Use the Contact button at left to reach Jeff---or visit him in person at the annual Writers' Festival & Book Fair at the Bloomington (MN) Arts Center, between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 24!

At a book signing in Browns Valley, MN, this past summer, Jeff was thrilled and honored when a REAL detective donned the Holmes costume to share his views on the art and science of solving crimes.  Gary Ingemunson, a 25-year veteran of the Los Angeles Police Department, also attended Jeff's Book Talk at the Morris (MN) Public Library a few days later.  (Photo by Valley News  editor Betti Labs)
